Halo Photonics have supplied both Salford and Reading University with a pulsed Doppler LiDAR.

The Radar group at Reading University, headed by Professor Anthony Illingworth [*] own and operate a Halo Photonics LiDAR at the Chilbolton weather observatory near Andover in southern England. The system is unattended and operating continuously. Live data plots are available here.

The Environmental Remote Sensing and Hydrometeorology Research Group at Salford University, headed by Professor Chris Collier [*], are continually conducting boundary layer measurements at locations throughout the UK and other countries.

The data plots show high temporal resolution data collected at the Finnish Meteorological Institute's Helsinki Testbed.
