The LiDAR system can easily be configured as a wind
profiler. The data below shows a 4 second [black] single wind profile measurement and
a 30 second [red] averaged wind profile.
The maximum range is determined by atmospheric conditions, but is
expected to be up to a maximum of approximately 2.5km. Cloud velocity
and direction up
to 10km can also be measured.
